The 13th round of the Chem-E Car competition will be held on February 18th and 19th in collaboration with the Iranian Society of Chemical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology. According to the Amirkabir University of Technology’s Public Relations Office, the competition will be held in three sections: Poster, Freestyle League and Performance.

The 18th conference of the Iranian Aerospace Society began its work. Dr. Alireza Jahangiriyan, the secretary of the 18th Iranian Aerospace Society Conference, said that: “After the secretariat announced the start of submission for papers, the conference received 300 full papers.” He further stated that: “After reviewing all these papers, 145 papers were selected for oral presentation and 97 papers were chosen for presentation as posters.

The third Scientific Student Competition for Materials Engineering and Metallurgy - MESCA - will be held at Amirkabir University of Technology in March.

Amirkabir University of Technology is hosting the 28th annual conference of the Iranian Society of Mechanical Engineers (ISME 1) in June. The 28th annual conference of the Iranian Society of Mechanical Engineers (ISME۲۰۲۰) will be held in partnership with the Iranian Society of Mechanical Engineers and hosted by the Amirkabir University of Technology in June.

"Thousand and One Nights Under the Sky" conference by the Physics and Energy Student Club will be held on Wed. January 8th in AUT Molana amphitheater.

The Amirkabir University of Technology’s team will be the sole representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Asia at the World Championships in Chemistry in Germany. Dr. Mustafa Keshavarz Moraveji said: AUT’s team, after three stages of theoretical testing and obtaining the maximum points required, is allowed to compete in these competitions and will competes with teams from Europe on November 4 and 5.

Amirkabir University of Technology’s public relations office reported that at the 4th  metallography competition hosted by AUT, 26 teams from universities across from the country competed. Following the opening ceremony on Oct 24th the teams were judged and according to their scores, the Technography team (from Isfahan University of Technology) and Arsmond (from Amirkabir University of Technology) jointly took the first place.

According to Public Relations of Amirkabir University of Technology, the Podium lecture competition aimed at enhancing speech and communication skills was held for the seventh consecutive year at Amirkabir University of Technology for the two groups of students and adults. Based on the vote of the referees winners of the senior section respectively were Batul Naseri, Mohammad Hossein Larijani and Parisa Khan Mohammadi, and the top students were Alireza Sarfrazian, Forough Sadat Hejazian and Mahdis Afiz.

The 19th  AUT International Student Programming Competition would be held on Nov 8 in the computer engineering department of AUT. This competition is being held with the support of Sabaidea company with the participation of 65 teams from across the country. Each team consists of 3 students they will compete in the Computer Engineering Faculty of Amirkabir University of Technology. . Amirkabir University of Technology's School of Computer Engineering, in line with the goals of the main ICPC competitions to select the top teams to compete in the regional championships, holds an official national competition to select students that will go to the West Asian Championships every year. Dr. Mehdi Varseai announced the winners of the Grand Quranic Competition of “Ziyafat-e-Noor” at Amirkabir University of Technology. The second round of the competition was held at Ramadan, which was welcomed enthusiastically by the students.

The first Iranian International Rheology Conference will be held at the Polymer Research Center this year. The first session of the International Rheology Conference will be held by the Iranian Rheology Foundation in cooperation with the Faculty of Polymer Engineering of AUT, Polymer Science and Engineering Society, and the Polymer and Petrochemical Institute of Iran on December 26th and 27th of this year.

The department of aerospace engineering at AUT will hold the 18th international aerospace conference in February of next year.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Railway Company in cooperation with the Ideas Bazaar Office of AUT, considering the urgent and vital necessities in the field of rail transport industry, is holding a startup pitch called "Ideas for ​​the Rail Transport Industry".

This type of award, being recently established in Iran, focuses on the assessment of supply companies and supply chains, with reference to logistics and supply chain standards and related indicators, and has become a milestone in the growth of this area.

Chair of the 11th National AUT Aerospace Competitions said: these competitions were held at AUT with 800 attendees. Dr. Mahdi Sabzehparvar added that in this round of tournaments rules were changed which increased the excitement of the competitions.

The 5th International Bridge Conference was held in AUT from December 17th to 18th. Dr. Farzad Hatami, the chair of this conference, said: after four successful international professional conferences on the subject of bridge, the fifth one will be held in AUT on the 17th and 18th of December with the support of various organs.

Dr. Gharehpetian, an electrical engineering faculty member of AUT, organized a research management education workshop in Berlin.
